First Impressions: Apple Watch

Apple finally revealed more details about the Apple Watch on March 9 at its “Spring Forward” event, and it’s been a while, but here is the rundown. The watch will come in two different size, a 38mm and 42mm watch face, made out of either anodized aluminum, stainless steel, or 18 carat gold. Aside from have an on/off button on the side, the watch will feature what Apple calls a “digital crown”, used for zooming and scrolling within apps. The biggest innovation made for the watch is an all new Apple S1 “System-in-Package” (SiP), which includes the storage, RAM, and processor. Apple has squeezed all the necessary brainpower into one component which will fit inside the watch. It is also said to be more powerful than the A4 chip found in the first iPad.
